THE IMPORTANCE OF MOBILITY
WHAT MAKES MOBILITY LAB DIFFERENT?
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE FIRST VISIT
-Prior to your first visit you will be asked to complete your Patient Intake Form and other documents through the Janes App patient portal.
-Upon meeting your Doctor of Chiropractic, they will have reviewed your medical history and the reason you are coming to see us.
The Initial Evaluation will be a one-on-one 60-90 minute appointment including a full history of injuries (past and present), as well as a comprehensive movement evaluation to determine the root cause of your problem(s). Based on our findings, we will begin the best line of same day treatment.
Throughout this process there will be constant education so that we can empower you to take control of your well-being and know your body
During the initial appointment, you and the doctor will put together a strategy for your best route to recovery and *plan for reaching your goals.
Follow Up appointments will last 60minutes at a time, decided by you and your Doctor. These treatment sessions will be used to monitor your progress and adjust things as needed. This may include addressing mobility deficits and movement dysfunctions, manual therapy, chiro adjustments and other services as needed.
Our ultimate goal with and for you, are:
1) Identify the root cause of any pain and dysfunction.
2) Initiate the healing process of current pain through a variety of techniques
2) Begin to address mobility impairments and muscle dysfunctions
3) Provide enough education in order to equip and empower you so that you can begin taking control of your own health
*We offer single session pricing as well as package deals which most of our clients prefer. This will be discussed during your first visit so we can assist you in determining the best course of action for your specific needs.
WHAT DOES AN ADJUSTMENT DO?
The chiropractic adjustment is used to facilitate the body’s ability to re-establish and maintain motion within areas that are meant to move. My preference is to teach you how to move your body on your own - but sometimes the joints need some external encouragement in order to speed up the process and allow movement to occur.
HOW LONG DO I NEED ADJUSTMENTS?
While I will be there to support you 100% of the way, I don’t believe that your best interest is served by being completely dependent on me. Therefore, my first and foremost objective is to arm you with knowledge so that you can develop a sense of aptitude within your body, control over your well-being and a toolbox for self-reliancy.
The number of visits required varies based on each individual patient and takes into account variables such as their: personal history, extent of present condition/issue and compliance and dedication to home-care and exercises.
DO YOU TAKE MY INSURANCE?
Mobility Lab is an Out of Network Provider. We work with all insurances, however we do not bill them directly. We provide the paperwork necessary (Super-Bill) for you to easily submit proof of your appointment to your insurance provider for out-of-network reimbursement.
Insurance reimbursement forces most clinics to treat multiple patients at once, which unfortunatly denies many performance-based treatments that we deliver at Mobility Lab
This model allows us the ability to dictate the patients level of care, such as providing longer treatment sessions which give the freedom to be present and fully focused on the patient in order to provide optimal results. Most clinics that bill insurance have to see anywhere from 4-10+ patients per hour and utilize modalities that allow them to leave you in a room ‘to cook’ while they quickly treat someone else. Instead, I spend that time face-to-face with you, teaching you about your body, what’s happening with it and why. And then offer long-term solutions that involve your active participation to make sure whatever issue you’re having doesn’t just go away, but also doesn’t come back.
